Suave Creamy Apricot and Orange Blossom Review.

This body wash by Suave Naturals are absolutely AWESOME.  I guess i expected less from a suave product since the cost is so affordable.
What i liked:

• Cost is great!
• Creamy lather and LOTS of it.
• Scent lingered on my skin even out of the shower
• Did NOT dry out my normally dry skin.
• I highly recommend

What I like about Ribbon Elastics:

What I wish was different:

• Not many color choices
• Doesn't hold thick hair well
• Cost a little high for 5 pieces

Olay Fresh Effects Review

As a free gift from +Influenster I received the new BB cream from Olay - Fresh Effects in my #SunVoxBox.  I have tried the Garnier BB Cream so was really looking forward to trying the Olay.  I received the fair to light color, which seemed really light on my fingers but blended surprisingly well with my skin tone.  It is a lighter shade then the garnier, but could not tell any visual difference with it on.  This product has a SPF 15 which is a huge bonus.  It has a subtle light scent, but did not cause any irritation on my normally sensitive skin.  This product claims to have 24 hour hydration -- and it does feel like a moisturizer on.  This if fine with my combination skin, but not sure how well it would go with more oily skin. It is thinner in consistency than the garnier bb, but appears to even skin tone similarly.  This product is so easy to fit into my quick morning routine.  Just a small amount on the fingertips and blend in.... that's all that's to it.  Some days that may be all I put on.  Other days I might add some powder a little blush and lipstick and go.  Either way--- just a couple minutes to ready! 

Ivory 2-In-1 Hair & Body

I must admit i have always been a little leary of a 2 in 1 Shampoo and Body wash.  I have used them with my children when they were little, but never considered them for adults.  That has now changed.  I received this 2 in 1 free from +Influenster to try out and give honest feedback. 
This Ivory 2 and 1 has good features.  The "refreshing scent" was just that.  It was a light clean scent without heavy perfumes.  Both my husband and I liked the scent.  The conditioning was light.  It didn't work very well with my daughter's very thick hair, but was perfect conditioning level for my  husband and I.
For the body- i love the conditioning feel it leaves on my skin.  It makes my skin not need lotion after a shower.  The lather wasn't as thick as i usually like with the amount used, but I just added a little more to finish up my shower.  I am considering switching to this as my primary shower product.  In the long run-- alot of dollars will be saved by having one product for hair washing/ conditioning / and body cleansing!  I urge you to give it a try!!

I receive this hair color free from Word of Mouth Marketing Mogul- BzzAgent!  I get to try out products in exchange for my honest opinion about products.  I have tried several hair care products in the past and was pleasantly surprised by this Garnier product.  I actually usually use the Garnier with avocado oil (can't remember the name), but this one i would rate even above the other @Garnier product! 

This oil powered color  gets deep color without the smelly mess of ammonia!  I did not realize you could get such good color without ammonia.  Olia claims to improve and restores hair as the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness for more brilliant, dimensional color.  And i have to say that i believe it.  Its been a couple weeks now, and the color is incredible.

So next time you go to grab a color-- Go for Ganier Olia
 

The Taste on ABC Tuesdays at 8 central

This is my favorite new reality type television show.  What can be better?  Combining food and competition all into one little taste.  This show is fast paced, action packed and not without snarky comments on the side!  There are four "kitchens" comprised of chefs/mentors/judges:

• Nigella Lawson
• Anthony Bourdain
• Ludo Lefebvre
• Brian Malarkey

I can NOT decide who is my favorite!  but i do love Chef Ludo's accent.  Everything he says comes out a little arrogant sounding and just makes me laugh.  What i really need is a recipe book that has all these great creations.
Last weeks episode on sandwhiches was awesome.  I can't wait to see what is coming up next Tuesday!  The Taste is on ABC Tuesdays at 9|8c-- don't forget!  I'm watching it.  Why don't you join me?

Goody Quickstyle Brush Review

I received this AWESOME goody Quickstyle paddle brush absolutely FREE from @Influenster Holiday VoxBox to try out!  I must admit i was skeptical at first.  This brush claims to decrease the dry time of your hair from wet to dry.  It really did!  Cut down dry time about in half.  What i also liked about it was if you chose to use a blow dryer with the brush, i could do so and then have the same style i generally would use a straight iron to achieve. 
The one thing i did NOT like about this brush is i did not feel it worked very well on dry hair at all.  It tended to not get rid of the tangles in hair that was completely dry, but i did detangle like a charm for hair that was wet.  If it would do both wet and dry hair -- not that would be terrific, but i did not find that to be the case.  This is my absolute favorite brush though for wet hair by far!

Kiss Nail Dress Product Review Holiday VoxBox 2012

I was Lucky enough through +Influenster and @KissProducts to get to try to the New Kiss Nail Dress Nail stickers. 

 

I am a huge nail gal.  During the summers in particular when my nails grow better, I keep them painted at all times.  I must confess i have Never used the stick ons for nail fashion.  I thought it might be easier.  I really did NOT find it easier.  I usually get my nails filed, painted and top coated in about 10-15 minutes.  The process to put these on took me about 35 minutes.  You have to line up various sizes to see which one will fit on each nail, then lay it on and smooth it out, file the edge of the nail to get rid of any excess and voila.  Perhaps with more practice, it would be quicker.  Since i just did it today, I'm not sure how long they will last.  I do like the fancier look you can get without having to go to the salon.  You can pick out designs with raised jewels or multicolors all with just the one sticker.  So that is definately a bonus!  And the cost at my local walmart is just $5.97 for 28 strips, so much less expensive then the nail salon as well. 

The start to finish does look nice.  I was going to also do my toes, but the fingers and just two toes had taken 35 minutes and didn't want any more time going into this.  I may try some other designs in the summer without the jewels.  I also think it will be better when my nails are a little longer.  Wouldn't you know it?  Most of mine have been breaking recently!

Montagne Jeunesse Face Masque

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE This Face Masque!!!

This is the best face mask I have tried!  I was provided this free from +Influenster as part of the Holiday VoxBox 2012- a Raspberry and Mango Deep Cleansing Masque.    Let me tell you just a few things about this totally relaxing experience.

1. Fragrance-  This smelled heavenly.  It said fruit smoothie face masque on the front and that was NO LIE!  It smelled light and sweet, just like a smoothie.  Some face masks are not pleasant smelling at all.  Not this one!  The smell was so nice, it was very relaxing.
2. Natural Ingrediants: " With a huge array to choose from, our face masques are packed with the most delicious natural ingredients and are bursting with luscious fragrances. Suitable for all different skin types, there is one to suit every mood and everybody!"  (see http://bit.ly/VNjT9y)
3. Texture- This mask was thick and creamy.  There is plenty in the small little packet to adjust thd thickness to what you like.  I first put on a thin layer because i wasn't sure there would be enough.  But there was plenty and put on a second layer right over the top.
4. Cleansing- The package says to leave this item on for 10-15 minutes.  After about 12 minutes, it was starting to feel tight, but not overly so and i took it off then.  Simply with a wet washcloth, it came off without rubbing.  It left my face feeling very clean.
5. Price-- After i used my free masque, I checked out my local Walmart and noticed they had these for $1.70 a piece and picked up a chocolate masque!  Haven't used that one yet, but looking forward to it.

Eboost Pink Lemonade

I received a Pink Lemonade flavor packet of Eboost in my Holiday VoxBox from Influenster (http://bit.ly/VQQ87d ) and i must admit I had never heard of it before, but figured I'd give it a try.  On the package it promotes that it gives you natural energy and immunity.  You are just supposed to add it to water and allow to effervesce. 

This product is Gluten and soy free.  It contains vitamins, minerals and nutrients to boost your workout.  So today, i mixed it up and drank one packet mixed with water prior to my workout.  The flavor was good and i like the cabonation, however, i'm sad to say it did not appear to boost my energy at all.  For more information on Eboost- check out their website--  http://bit.ly/WrjF6M and although i didn't find it to boost my workout I did like that it contains many vitamins such as C, D, Niacin, zinc selenium and potassium all of which helps to keep my immune system strong during the winter... so might as well drink it!  It tastes good!

Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal+ Review

I don't usually like oatmeal, but i had received the Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal free from Influenster (http://bit.ly/U1EaIY) in the Cherry Pistachio flavor.  I had a bite and gave the rest to my husband.  Then i went out and bought the Apple and Walnut flavor.  This was by far, my favorite.

Wow.... bad Picture.... can't even tell its the Apple Walnut flavor!  This was super convenient.  Just add boiling water, wait three minutes and its ready!  Just like that.  It was good too.  A little sweet and it does have 290 calories.  Overall, a really good taste though.

 

This was after adding the water, but before stirring it all up.  It does mix really well.  The influenster site specifies the price at $1.79 a cup.  I picked mine up at Walmart at $1.58 per cup.  This still seems a little high for an individual cup of oatmeal, but i did really like the convenience factor.  This would be great to keep at the office and then if i dont have time to eat at home, can pop it in the microwave when i get to work.  The convenience of it cooking within the cup it comes in is AWESOME!  You can take it with you! So while i probably wouldn't have this my first choice for every day oatmeal due to the higher price per serving, I will definately have some on hand for breakfast in a pinch.
