Staying Healthy

I have got througth Thanksgiving unscathed.  I'm still on track to lose those last 6 pounds i want to lose.  I really need to thank a good friend and co-worker for introducing me to fitbit.  It has been my Godsend.  I believe that many people do not realize what all they are putting in their mouth all day long.  I purchased fitbit online (www.fitbit.com) and what it has done for me was help me get focused.  This wonderful little pedometer tracks steps, flights of stairs, calories burned, even sleep patterns.  I love that it syncs to my computer and has a corresponding smart phone app that i can enter my food eaten through out the day.  That is the key folks-- tracking what you eat.  Most people would not realize those handful of chips or peanuts here and there REALLY add up.  I also love that the computer does the work for me.  As long as i'm tracking my food and my fitbit is tracking my activity level i can easily stay in the goal zone.  I honestly LOVE it.  If you have any weight to lose i highly recommend it!!!
